Böllhoff standard 53085 | Steel 8.8 | zinc plated | Cr (VI) - free | metric thread
The ratchet screws are a mechanical locking device that can prevent the connection from automatically loosening. The securing is achieved by the locking teeth, which penetrate into the support material when tightening. The material into which the screw is screwed must have a lower hardness than that of the screw. If the screw connection is loosened again, damage to the surface of the support material can be expected. If surface damage is to be avoided, we recommend the use of the RIPP LOCK® locking screws
advantages:
• Screw locking without additional elements
• Enlarged bearing surface makes washers and lock washers superfluous
• Reduced setting values of the screws
